The programme
Three levels, four modules each. The programme is written by the teachers who give the classes.
The language is always learnt together with its social and cultural context: communicating is not only about knowing vocabulary and structures, but about understanding the norms, the values and the ways of relating of the community that speaks it.
The goal: Get the basic tools to start communicating in the language you are learning and to manage everyday situations, taking on the social and cultural norms of the language community from day one.
By the end, you will be able to: Start and keep up basic interactions while respecting the social and cultural codes.
By the end, you will be able to: Introduce yourself, talk about your family and build ties with other people.
By the end, you will be able to: Handle practical situations in the street, at the market and while getting around.
By the end, you will be able to: Build simple sentences and talk about everyday activities.
45 minutes per session, twice a week · Indicative equivalence with the European Framework. There is no official qualification in any of these languages.
The goal: Build the ability to hold a conversation with some independence, recount experiences, express opinions and needs, and take part in social, professional or intercultural mediation.
By the end, you will be able to: Recount experiences, describe situations and talk about plans.
By the end, you will be able to: Explain a problem, describe your needs and follow situations to do with health and home life.
By the end, you will be able to: Take part properly in social situations and understand the cultural codes behind them.
By the end, you will be able to: Hold longer conversations and express yourself independently in everyday situations.

The goal: Go deeper into advanced use of the language through oral tradition, proverbs, tales, the media, music, cinema, literature and formal speech. This level is aimed above all at people who need the language for professional, academic, cultural or intercultural mediation work.
By the end, you will be able to: Understand and interpret texts from the oral tradition and use narrative and expressive devices.
By the end, you will be able to: Follow talk about current affairs and take part in conversations and debates.
By the end, you will be able to: Understand and discuss cultural works, and give opinions and readings of them.
By the end, you will be able to: Express complex ideas, argue a case, present information and work as an intercultural mediator.
